General Information
The race, Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon 2026 will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026.
The race will be held at the Lumbini Park Complex, Borobudur Temple, Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia.
Race categories offered at the Borobudur Marathon are Marathon (42.195 kilometers), Half Marathon (21.097 kilometers) and 10K.
Yes.
The Borobudur Marathon are open for public. However, minimum age requirements apply to all categories:
- Marathon: 18 years old
- Half Marathon: 16 years old
- 10K: 14 years old
Minimum age requirements are determined based on participant’s age on race day.
Registration for the main race event will be available through multiple registration programs: Ballot, Saveduit Bank Jateng, Xtrarun Bank Jateng, Urbana Qualifiers, Travel Agent program dan Worlds Marathon.

Registration fees for the main race event categories are:
- Marathon : IDR 950.000
- Half Marathon : IDR 850.000
- 10K : IDR 650.000

The Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon 1 Decade Medal is awarded to runners who have successfully completed the race five (5) times between 2017 and 2026.
Participants found to have provided invalid registration information or engaged in registration misuse, including maintaining multiple accounts (double accounts), or participation misuse, including using another participant’s race bib, in any event edition prior to 2026, will be deemed ineligible to receive the 1 Decade Medal. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to revoke a participant’s eligibility based on the results of its verification process. All decisions made by the Organizing Committee are final.
Race Day Information
Runners may use shuttle bus service provided by the committee at selected points in Magelang and Yogyakarta. Please bear in mind that the seats are limited for this shuttle service.

Yes. There will be some road closures during the event by local police and transportation authorities.
Detailed information regarding traffic information will be announced at a later stage.
The start time for each race category will be announced at a later date.
The start corral for each category will be closed at the sound of the start signal of the final wave. Participants who are not inside the corral at that time will not be permitted to start and will be given a DNS (Did Not Start) status.
Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon 2026 Cut-off Time for each category, applies to both men and women sub-categories:
Marathon : 6 hours and 30 minutes
Half Marathon : 3 hours and 40 minutes
10K : 2 hours
The Race Organizer will implement Cut-Off Points (COP) for selected race categories. Details regarding the location and timing of the Cut-Off Points will be announced at a later date.
Participants who miss a Cut-off Point (COP) will be stopped by the committee and escorted by vehicle to the race central. They will be declared as Did Not Finish (DNF) and are not entitled to a finisher medal. Marathon participants who miss a COP will also not receive a finisher tee.
Borobudur Marathon Race Village will open at 3.15 AM until 12:00PM.
This information can be changed at any time depending on the situations on the day of the event.
Yes, the main parking area for participants will be available at Kampung Seni Borobudur.
We strongly advise you to use shuttle service provided to avoid getting stuck in the heavy traffic when reaching the race village.
Yes. Baggage deposit will be provided for all registered runners at race village.
Yes you must.
Runners need to have their bib attached in front of their running shirt and stay visible during the event. Runners with no bib number will be removed from the race course by Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon Official.
Runners also need to show their bib number when entering Borobudur Marathon race central. No exceptions will be made.

No. Pets are strictly prohibited on the race course.
Runners who managed to finish within the cut-off time are entitled for a finisher medal.
Various refreshments such as fruits, mineral water, and/or isotonic drinks are available along the designated race course.
No. Confirmed registration is final and cannot be transferred or sold to other parties. Participants found selling or transferring their bib will be disqualified from the race and prohibited from participating in future events.
Official results and race time records will be announced via the official website www.borobudurmarathon.com and the My Borobudur Marathon app after Race Day. The calculation of official time records is entirely the authority of the Race Organizer.
